1. Porcelain
tiles are non-porous
Porcelain is virtually impervious to water - there
is no need to use sealants. As water cannot penetrate the surface of the
tile, it will not be damaged unlike natural stones. If flooded, the tiles
simply need to be dried and cleaned, where other materials would need to
be replaced. In addition porcelain tiles are the most appropriate flooring
type for under floor heating. |
